Google Technical Specialist, Healthcare AI/Analytics, Public Sector in Toronto, Ontario
Remote positions for this role may be available in Ontario.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in the healthcare industry in a customer facing cloud computing role.
Experience working with web/internet technologies, architecture across SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, on-prem and cloud productivity suites.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics or other technical field.
10 years of Healthcare industry experience in the Pharmaceutical, Clinical Trials or Medical Devices space.
Experience with application development, cloud service delivery/deployment, converged infrastructure, virtualization systems, and containers.
Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, GMP and other legal regulations around healthcare data and common healthcare data exchange formats (e.g., SDTM, ADaM, HL7, FHIR, CCDA), Big Data/ML/AI related to healthcare and Clinical Trials, and healthcare compliance.
Knowledge of solution architecture within web/mobile environments.
Ability to influence technical/non-technical audiences and deliver results in cross-functional/matrixed environments.

As a Technical Specialist, you will work with technical teams as a Healthcare cloud subject matter expert to differentiate and paint the vision of Google Cloud to our customers. You will help prospective customers and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, explain technical features, help customers design architectures, engage in proof of concepts, and troubleshoot potential roadblocks.

Work to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer technical objections, develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers, and travel to customer sites as required.
Provide in-depth Healthcare technology expertise to support the technical relationship with Google’s customers, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner directly with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
Guide customers through assessments of their existing legacy application environments, provide recommendations on a prioritization roadmap for a solution, and identify and define components from Google Cloud.
Create detailed and prescriptive architectures for healthcare cloud solutions.
Structure and execute workshops to prove out proposed new architectures, prototypes, develop best practices, and document key blocking requirements for prioritization with engineering.
