DXC Technology Senior Professional Sales Representative (Healthcare) in Tysons, Virginia

Essential Job Functions

  • Understands and articulates company offerings, products and services. Supports sales specialists on sales calls, requests for proposals (RFPs) and overall customer support. Participates in the sales cycle from start to finish for delivery of business solutions for assigned deals.

  • Develops and executes strategies to prospect targets for assigned company offerings, products or services. Works with cross-functional sales solutioning team members to develop proposals against identified client needs. Pre-qualifies and cross-sells solutions. Reports to sales personnel or management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts and new prospects.

  • Develops business plans for accounts to meet or exceed sales, marketing and customer satisfaction objectives, under sales staff guidance. Prepares proposals and assists in developing solutions. In collaboration with sales leader, delivers sales proposals at client meetings.

  • Works with sales team in developing a strategic plan for client communications, marketing and demand generation. Tracks activities to identify proven steps that improve sales leads.

  • Monitors market environment, remaining abreast of competitor activities, industry developments and market trends. Summarizes and/or details findings to support sales activities. Presents findings to sales specialists or management.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred

  • Six or more years of business development or sales experience

  • Experience working with the technology industry

  • Experience working with technology products, services, competencies, solutions, and offerings

  • Experience working with a standard sales methodology and supporting tools and applications

  • Experience working with finance and accounting concepts

Other Qualifications

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills for interacting with team members and prospective clients

  • Good selling and negotiation skills

  • Good communication skills to listen to the client and articulate back for solutioning

  • Ability to create and maintain and expand formal and informal networks

  • Ability to work in a team environment

  • Willingness to travel
