JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
University Health Services (UHS) is searching for an Administrative Support Assistant with exceptional organizational skills to provide day-to-day administrative support to the UHS Privacy/Security Officer. These duties include, but are not limited to performing confidential administrative duties, tasks, and maintaining updates to and reports from compliance software solution.
Candidates for consideration must be highly self-motivated and exhibit excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, accomplished organizational skills, and conscientious attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple priorities/deadlines. Demonstrated high quality and thoroughness of work is critical. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Excellent computer skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential. This position will work up to a maximum of 24 hours per week in a part-time schedule. Monday through Friday with hours to be determined with the supervisor. Knowledge of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations required.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
