GlaxoSmithKline Tech Partner Latam (Consumer Healthcare) in United States

Your Responsibilities:

This role gives YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, the main of these are:

  • Understanding product(s) and managing product life cycles with value cases;

  • Work with business users of new and/or changed Tech systems to modify their processes and/or ways of working to derive the planned benefits from the system;

  • Follow global tech portfolio and standard to define problem statement and involve proper Tech and non-Tech stakeholders, external partners to deliver Business Case, control budget and ensure successful project delivery;

  • Ensure that Customer/Consumer Satisfaction is regularly measured, analyzed, necessary corrective actions and improvement actions are taken;

  • Facilitate serious escalation processes in countries in scope and to coordinate with Consumer Tech response to crisis situations;

  • Ensure operational support services are delivered for local application portfolio and manage relation with external partners;

  • Analyze, define and document detailed process workflows through user interviews, facilitated workshops and expert engagement. Develop a clear understanding of the core entities and accountabilities within the process;

  • Understand the business priorities and objectives impacting the business process in parallel with understanding the limitations and gaps of the current environment;

  • Deconstruct complex processes into manageable simplified representations that facilitate strategic discussion and decision making;

  • Ensuring all applications supporting the business are compliant with internal security, risk management policies and practices, external regulatory and statutory requirements;

  • Ensuring that employees are following computer use, information security and privacy policies;

  • Ensure that Tech continuity plans are in place for all business-critical applications;

  • Provide recommendations through conducting assessments and evaluations for out of the shelf and custom solutions and services;

  • Keep abreast of the latest developments in Information Technology and industry best practice.

Our Tech Area characterizes by being responsible for the provision of Digital & Tech products adoption, IT delivery, digital transformation and innovation to the Markets. The Tech Partner will plan and execute on technology initiatives in accordance with where business demand will be identified, also support operations acting as an escalation point for any operational support issues and helping to triage the issue to the correct persistent Tech group.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these characteristics to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor degree in engineering, Tech, IT, Computer Science or Equivalent;

  • Experience in Tech/Digital area (Preferably in Pharmaceutical Industry, Consumer Goods or similar);

  • Fluent English and Portuguese;

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and people management skills;
