Serco Healthcare Business Process Engineer- VHA in Washington, District Of Columbia
This position is contingent upon contract award
Business Process Engineer supporting VHA in the evaluation of healthcare program effectiveness and process improvement including management and support of the analysis, design, development, and implementation of diverse, enterprise-wide healthcare processes and application systems, business/clinical and IT programs, and IT healthcare solutions.
Tasks may include the design study process; conducting studies in support of system redesign and business process reengineering, improvement, and management; developing implementation plans; and supporting the process of implementing and sustaining improvements. Experience with health system/healthcare processes preferred.
Bachelor’s degree required
Six (6) years management/leadership in healthcare clinical or operational positions
Ability to perform healthcare process modeling, data and informatics
Ability to perform healthcare baseline assessments
Management for business process improvement projects
Experience with healthcare management processes
Experienced leadership in planning, facilitating, managing, closing process improvement projects
Experience in root cause analysis and solutioning
Good presence/performance as a senior advisor to healthcare directors and staff officers
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Secret Clearance eligible
Masters or advanced degree preferred staff college or equivalentKnowledge of CMMI and ISO quality management systems and process development
Expertise in collaborating with business owners, analysts, programmers, engineers, and clinical and administrative end-users to identify the baseline (as-is) and future state (to-be) of technology and process improvement initiatives
Experience with performance measures, key performance indicators
