We currently have an opening for a Full time, Night Shift (7 p.m.-7:30 a.m.), Admissions Counselor, to join our team of caring professionals.
Purpose of position: Clinical professional responsible for facilitating admissions, clinical intake assessments and utilization review processes to assure continuity for the most appropriate level of care for patients and their benefit/resources utilization. Provide accurate and ongoing assessment of patient’s status in the admission and utilization process. Schedule/complete pre-admission assessments and communicate recommendations to patient or their family. Perform ongoing assessments of physical/function, emotional, social, spiritual and financial needs patients and implements crisis intervention and referral.

Education: Master's degree in Therapeutic Counseling, Social Work, Behavioral Science or other recognized therapeutic field, from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Three (3) plus years of mental/behavioral health experience working with individuals in a clinical or observational capacity, preferably within the area of specialty for the facility. Experience in the managed care pre-certification process, level of care assessments and utilization.
Licensures/Certification: Current Florida Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensure or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) licensure, current CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (will provide training for CPI), required.
Masters or better in Social Work
