CVS Health Senior Strategic Healthcare Senior Manager in WORK FROM HOME, North Carolina
The Senior Manager will manage the development of the Utilization Management transformation innovation strategy and provide oversight to development and implementation of initiatives in the Clinical Services Utilization Management Organization. Typically manages multiple managers and their work teams and/or most complex projects from ideation through to implementation and value realization. Sets strategic direction for team and/or complex projects and or programs (e.g., programs that may impact one or all segments, and runs multiple years in duration with high financial implications). Has full accountability for all aspects of projects and or programs such as financial, regulatory, marketing, etc. Position Summary: As a business leader, influences all stakeholders to support key projects/programs to ensure positive outcomes that deliver on results. Drives change in order to improve performance results, organization effectiveness and/or systems/quality/services (e.g., policies, processes or systems).Identifies gaps in processes or organization and challenges self and others to develop and implement solutions. Directs accountability for impact to SG&A - Ensures accurate prioritization of key projects/programs within purview. Managing complex analytical projects through data exploration, model building, evaluation and testing. Summarizes findings through comprehensive strategic thinking and application of root cause analysis. Presents to executives, business partners and internal business areas and communicate analysis solutions, and path forward Proactively manages project timelines, build contingency plans, monitors issues and mitigate risk.
Experience desired: 7-10 years of experience working in healthcare or similar industry Demonstrated leadership experience (leading workstreams and managing critical deliverables) Proven Strategy or strategic planning experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills (advanced skills in MS PowerPoint) Demonstrate ability to manage and coordinate multiple strategic projects within highly matrixed environment Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
